Destination Celebration Ceremony
July 19, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

A time to celebrate Great Smyrna youth that have completed a milestone in their life. The Destination Celebration youth go through a very unique and sacred ceremony. The ceremony participants will: receive communion for those that have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; be consecrated and anointed with oil; be issued the Word of God; be prayed over for spiritual insight and future direction; and lastly receive the right hand of fellowship. This event is a ceremony to release our youth into their God given and appointed destiny.
Sanctuary Reopen
Great Smyrna reopened the Sanctuary on June 7, 11:00am worship service ONLY. Please use the front door as all other doors should be locked. For those who desire the comfort of wearing masks (may include bandanas, or other similar face coverings) and gloves (may include latex gloves, kitchen gloves, etc…) – it will be important to note that everyone is expected to bring their own as they will not be provided. For all service team members please remember to bring your own mask and gloves.
Also, while in prayer it came up to make certain that people who have cloth masks and who would like to have them prayed over and anointed (Acts 19:12) to feel free to bring them. Before service, bring the cloth and place it on the pew next to the Healing class but closest to the pulpit where the deacons sit during Communion. Feel free to pick it up after service once it has been prayed for.
